NPCI launches UPI AutoPay facility for recurring payments

The UPI AutoPay facility has came into action for frequent payments made by the National Payments Corporation of India. Consumers will be able to make recurring payments such as mobile bills, electricity bills, EMI payments, entertainment / OTT subscriptions, insurance, mutual funds, loan payments, traffic or metro payments through any UPI app, up to Rs. 2000 from the new facility. For which there will be no requirement of PIN. The customer will need PIN every time to pay more than Rs 2,000.
