Basudev Mahapatra, a farmer in Balasore district of Odisha, has seen a yellow turtle species, which experts have estimated to be albinism. The another name of this turtle is “Indian flap shell turtle”. This turtle also lives in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, India, Nepal, Bangladesh and Myanmar. It is omnivorous, whose diet includes frogs, snails, and even some aquatic vegetation.
