World Hepatitis Day: 28 July

Every year, World Health Organization celebrates “World Hepatitis Day” on 28 July.  Moreover, this day raises awareness about hepatitis disease. Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver (liver), which the disease can exacerbate in self-limiting or chronic hepatitis, and which can lead to scarring (narrowing of the liver) or liver cancer.

Also, this year’s theme is “Hepatitis-free future”, which focuses on preventing hepatitis B in mothers and newborns.
